Ross McKeon
Corporate Executive Leader for LTP Sales
Ross began his career in public accounting with KMG Main Hurdman (now KPMG), managing all aspects of the audit engagements for many national and global clients. He also assisted KMG’s chairman in the daily responsibilities of managing the firm and maintaining a leadership role in the firm’s national training and education function. This combined audit and management experience provided Ross with valuable insights into strategic planning and growth, while acquiring a wealth of financial knowledge and business experience.
Subsequently, Ross joined Actmedia Inc., a provider of worldwide in-store marketing products and services to consumer packaged goods manufacturers. As Executive Vice President, Chief Financial Officer, he was responsible for managing the entire US and Canadian field service force of 40,000 employees, coordinating the sales and operations initiatives as well as navigating all financial matters. Ross elevated Actmedia’s business to the leading in-store marketing services company in the United States. Through his executive leadership and financial guidance, the company developed eight additional products and services, expanded internationally and sustained double-digit revenue and earning growth.
In addition to taking the company public, Ross was instrumental in increasing shareholder value twelve times during his tenure through aggressive product growth and global expansion. Ross was pivotal player in the sale of Actmedia to Heritage Media Company in 1989, and subsequently to News Corporation in 1998. He served on Actmedia’s Board of Directors for all international subsidiaries.
In 1999, Ross joined Medtech Products, Inc., a private OTC pharmaceutical company, as Executive Vice President, Chief Financial Officer. While at Medtech, Ross successfully restructured the Company, upgraded the operating systems and pursued an IPO initiative.
Since 2000, Ross has been actively involved with LTP Sales, leading programs on strategic financial solution selling for sales executives, principally to high-tech companies such as, Cisco, Hewlett Packard, Clarify, Cadence and Synopsis. In addition, Ross has expanded topics and customized content for the current programs and developed programs and case studies for specific customers.
